In the fatal shooting, Bekim Kastrati, an ethnic Albanian journalist with the newspaper Bota Sot, was killed instantly by gunfire aimed at the car in which he and others were riding. The newspaper is one of Kosovo's largest and is close to the political party of Ibrahim Rugova, one of the main ethnic Albanian leaders.

...it is larger than the United Kingdom (94,500 square miles) plus Germany plus the Netherlands, a total of 248,333 square miles. Just as these nations have found it desirable to be independent, so too it is entirely possible that some of the different ethnic groups in Afghanistan might find it desirable to form their own sovereign states.

House of Journalists Fights Ministry for Survival
The union has been running the house, called a dom tvorschestva, or house of creativity, for the last 11 years, but the building has been a focus of journalistic activity since 1920. Generations of journalists know the house, which serves as a venue for press conferences, seminars, lectures and conferences as well as a place where retired journalists meet. It also houses a restaurant.
After inspecting the House of Journalists, the ministry concluded that none of the space was being used as it should be. It informed the union that it has been breaking the rules, and that funds generated by subleasing surplus space cannot be used to subsidize other activities.
The ministry told the union that it wants its own subsidiary, Efes, to manage the building and to divert cash generated there to the federal budget, while all "noncommercial" activities would be able to continue at no charge.

Terrorism is an act against God, not for Him. Anyone who tries to justify such atrocities ultimately fails because both Islamic law and theology punish these acts as moral sins and heinous crimes. This is true regardless of one's grievances towards American foreign policy. The Quran instructs Muslims in times of adversity to act with justice and persevere with patience.
