I have to agree about Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Easily the best 2000 movie I saw this year. I also liked The Contender.

I visited the no longer kinky haired korean behind the pink door last night. I drank Corona without lime and stared at the pyschodelia decorations while she disserated a philosophy of life from behind the bar. It was the end of a solo flight to all the after dark points in my heart. All strings cut and tidy. God be with two thousand.

Tigers announce 2001 ticket prices DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Tigers are either keeping ticket prices the same or lowering them for next season, depending on the section at Comerica Park. The price of the top box seats will remain at $60 in the ballpark's second season. the Tigers said Wednesday. Several sections of what had been $60 Tiger Den tickets -- in sections 116-118 and 138-141 -- will be cut to $35 and renamed terrace seats. Extra-wide, padded club seats in the first six rows of the upper level surrounding the infield will be reduced from $50 to $35, and outfield box seats in sections 107-111 in the right-field corner will be reduced from $25 to $15. Ticket prices for 11 seating categories will remain unchanged.Ticket prices going down?! At least we know what team did NOT pay $252 million for one player. . .
