Clerks: what a disappointment Sigh.
Clerks: what a disappointmentSigh. I was hoping for so much more. Maybe this is just first episode unevenness, but if Clerks stays that bad, there's no hope for renewal. I found it too self-absorbed, too consciously rather than naturally clever, and too weakly written. Grape soda? That's just embarassing, if you're going to make black jokes, don't pull the punches.
