JOY TO THE WORLD!
They know what's wrong with my Starmax and it's covered under the Motorola five year warranty. I knew that was going to come in handy. I just wish they hadn't freaked me out on Monday by saying "Well, the floppy and the CD-Rom work. We're still running diagnostics on the hard drive, the motherboard, the RAM, and the PCI riser." But no matter.

We should sue Fox, claiming embarrassment and libel and other doodads. Fox has enough money to let Hypercube Industries become as huge and arrogant as it could become accustomed to.
My implementation of the International Women's Day 2000 subsite of the Status of Women Canada federal department is going up piecemeal. My boss is getting all kinds of email asking where the fuck it is -- my response would be "You gave us five days with the material, which wasn't even approved by the Minister until the third day we had it, and we gave you something pretty. Go fuck yourself if that's not fast enough -- not even Hypercube Industries could get it out faster."
(<insert stupid disclaimer about how I'm not speaking in any official capacity for Status of Women Canada, just my pissed off self>)

Why don't politicians like Senator Kelly focus on the real issues. Who the hell really cares about a few genetic mutations. It is interesting that this movie (X-MEN for the people that haven't figured it out yet) has decided to follow this story line. Considering the profiling that went on (probably still goes on) in schools around the country after the Columbine killings, the idea of reporting people as suspected mutants carries with it a disconcerting feeling of reality.
First they came for the Communists, and I didn°Øt speak up, because I wasn°Øt a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn°Øt speak up, because I wasn°Øt a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn°Øt speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me.by Rev. Martin Niemoller, 1945
